The Classica Series... You say you want "the old barn door style"? Well this is definately the line for you! There are less expensive ways of doing what we call in the industry "carriage style" doors such in the economy line above. You will get that ever so popular look but you pay for what you get in this case. Classica series doors will not be matched by any other carriage doors. They are usually noticed for the 3 section only design door in 7' or 8' heights. If you want the traditional look with the architectural lines of antique garage doors of the past, Classica does this unlike most brands acheive that faux look. Other brands have imitations that use an "overlay" product. Most everybody these days are turned off the "overlay" process because this consists of a vinyl material that is glued to a flush panel metal exterior door. I don't care how good the glue is, A steel stamped design with deep profiles for the accents will look better and still be here after that vinyl bows, buckles, and seperates from the metal door. Opener Systems... Before we are a door replacement company, we are a service company. In our extreme amount of service calls over the years, we have replaced gears, logic boards, reciever boards, remotes, wireless keypads, photo sensors.......need I go on? We have narrowed it down to just a few models over the years of experience. You want the best bang for your buck, we dont want to have be called back on a system we installed. Should be a good trade.  Another thing we constantly hear about when talking about openers is the "BIG BOX" stores. Listen close.....There is a reason that specialty shops exist like ours and our competitors as well. The Overhead Door industry is very large and has continued to grow even most recently. The prices you see on those crammed shelves are with no tax, a "masked brand" that is usually made by a company that is very difficult to deal with warranty sittuations. Good luck with calling them and telling which exact part is needing to be replaced. Then if you are able to do that, you will have to wait until they recieve your part, determine it bad, then send it to you at your cost for the shipping both ways. To me and most people, the choice is clear.
